Edward G. Pettit: The Poe Wars

In a 2007 article in Philadelphia City Paper, Edward G Pettit sparked the Poe Wars. Inflaming the passion of particular literary fans, Pettit controversially proposed exhuming Edgar Allan Poe from his grave in Baltimore to be re-interred in Philadelphia.
