Sunday April 28th is a very special occasion here at the Harvest Moon Twin Drive-in Movie Theatre. We are hosting our big 'Donor Party' for the hundreds of donors that came together to help us fund our new digital projection systems last year. To make the event as special as possible, we are have been selected as the first theatre in the World to show the brand new, never before seen, drive-in documentary: "Going Attractions: The Definitive Story of the American Drive-in Movie". We will be the only place you can come to see this movie first hand in the world prior to the May 1st official release date. This movie features the Harvest Moon, and has been about 6 years in production.
As an added bonus, the film's creator and producer: April Wright, is flying in from California for the special screening this Sunday. She will be available to talk about the movie, sign autographs, posters, and dvds.
This is a major film event in central Illinois, and we want to pack the theatre!
Please join us this Sunday, April 28th, for this special occasion. The gates will open at 6pm, the film hits the screens at 8pm, and the interview will be after the movie is finished(around 10pm or so).

This presale is for this upcoming weekend's Special Screening only. We limit the amount of reserved spots to 10 per screen and presale admissions to 200 per screen. All tickets MUST be printed out and scanned at the gate when attending a showing. Pick how many tickets you want, Tickets are valid for the single night ONLY. Early admission is not allowed, you will still have to wait in the entrance lane at the theatre. General Admission tickets do not guarantee you a good spot at the theatre for the night of your choice. ONLY 'Reserved Front Row' tickets will hold a guaranteed spot for your vehicle for show nights. The Reserved Front Row tickets include 1(ONE) admission and the reserved spot for a single night's feature. Others in the vehicle can either purchase General Admission tickets or tickets at the box office upon arrival.
