Hip Scarves and Veil Work and Cymbals, Oh My! Mother-Daughter Belly Dance for Ages 6 and up.
Learn belly dance basics, get the wiggles out and enjoy fun movement with your daughter in these summer workshops.
Three Friday mornings from 10:30 to noon:
- June 7--Shimmy Spectacular--hip drops, twists and shimmies
- July 12--Super Steps--ways to make your dance move
- August 2--Veil Drama-graceful arms for dance and for life

Belly dance is for women and girls of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. It’s a great way to develop rhythm, coordination, proper posture and confidence, whether you're ready to show off your belly or prefer to keep it under wraps. My classes feature kid-friendly, easy-to-learn steps plus fun extras like hip scarves and veils to borrow and creative-movement games.
