Event Description:
Please join us at Evanston's hippist eatery for monthly wine tastings that each month feature a winery we visit on our tours.
The next tasting, to be held on Tuesday, April 2 2013 from 7 - 8:30 pm, will feature wines from the Hickory Creek Winery in Buchanan, MI.
These informal monthly get-togethers are held on the first Tuesday of each month at The Alcove (512 Main St, Evanston, IL 60202) and introduce wine lovers to the unique wines from around the Midwest.
The cost of each wine tasting is $50 per person and includes wine, a gourmet supper consisting of a panini sandwich, fresh garden salad served, a bowl of homemade soup, and shared dessert. For a complete list of selections click on this link (Menu for the Alcove).
Evanston Cellars owner Dileep Gangolli will lead conversation regarding the wines being served. All tastings are open to the public age 21 or older. IDs will be checked before hand.
