Welcome to the 2013 College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment Graduate Student Symposium!
SMSP, Geology, Geography, and DSU Graduate Students and Faculty are encouraged to attend. This is the perfect opportunity for graduate students to present research and foster professional relationships within the college. The symposium will be concomitant with CEOE Honors Day and Dean Targett has graciously agreed to support the symposium in hopes of increasing representation from all CEOE graduate students.
Guidelines: Registration and abstract submission will be open March 18th - April 8th. Oral prestentation will be 15 minutes. Presenters should prepare a 10-12 minute talk with the remaining time for questions. There will be at least 12 time slots for oral presentations. Abstracts will be reviewed and oral presenters will be notified by April 15th if they are selected to present at the symposium. We recommend that posters be no larger than 40"x60", however we will try to accomodate a larger poster that has been printed.
